Ecuadorian Photography Expedition - May 2009

Edwin Kats, Mark Harding & Andy Astbury have teamed up as Eco-Pix and have put together for their inaugural adventure a 21 day itinerary for a party of 12 to 14 photographers in one of the worlds greatest and most diverse ecological hot-spots - Ecuador.

But this is like no other Ecuadorian itinerary that's available, as the team have access to some of the most prestigious conservation projects that are out-of-bounds to any other organisers.

The trip takes a route that encompasses all that Ecuador has to offer, from the High Paramo grasslands and snow-capped mountains, down through the Cloud Forest and on into the depths of the Amazon Rainforest and the home of the Black Caiman, Giant Otter, Jaguar and Harpy Eagle.

We have unparalleled access to two major conservation projects for both the Jaguar and Harpy Eagle as well as the highly threatened Black Caiman.

Together with the finest bird photography opportunities at both start and end-points, the itinerary takes you through the home of the Spectacled Bear and many other unique mammals, through fantastic landscapes of many different kinds and on into the realms of the darkest Amazon, its amazing fauna and flora, and its indigenous people.

If you would like to embark on this unique adventure and would like more details please contact either Edwin, Mark or Andy - or better still visit the Eco-Pix website at http://www.eco-pix.com
